so I just went to afew pocket bike sites and I saw they don't put the names of the bikes down too... why do they do this? this one I went to... I don't remember which one it was but all the bikes looked almost the same... this really bugs me when I'm looking for a good bike and I don't know what I'm getting

We have names for ours....the one on the top left is Fred...the on to the right of it is Sally (they have a thing going, can't wait to see the babies!)..the one on the bottom left is cousin Jim...and the one to the right of him is Jake (don't mess with the Jake)

Don't tell them they all look the same....makes them mad!! :P

ok now... this isn't funny... what if you spent like 400 bucks on a bike and you found out its a piece of junk... would you wanna find out more info on it before you got it

Send me a picture of it and I would gladly tell you what type of bike it is, what to look for and what mods would help wake it up!!

Seriously, send me a picture or post it and I would be glad to help in anyway I can! The guys on this forum have lots of knowledge and will help you as well! Most bikes need the bugs worked out and once they are...watch out!

Most dealers that I have known and seen name their bikes how they want. In some cases there is no model name. In other cases they change the name because the name is bad. No one in their right mind wants to buy a rossini, but if it's called a model r101 then it's different because most buyers don't know the difference.

The issue boils down to ignorance. That's something that forums like this is for. We can educate both buyers and dealers.
