How much do you gab the spark plug for a 49cc x7 pocket bike??

i did get a manual with my bike but there is a lot of up graded parts on there and all.. but i will check the manual to and see.. thanks for ur help yall.

A lot of the sites I have seen recommend a .025" gap. Some manufacturer sites recommend .6-.8mm (.023 - .031).

This information was not specifically for an x7, but rather for a wide range of pocketbike/scooter/quad type motors from 47cc to 110cc. Basing it on that I'd say .025 would be a safe bet.

thanks guys.. i did the right thing then but now the bike is rannin like s*** and all.. it just does not ran right now and all.. we tuned it up and all.. but something else is wrong to the bike now.. when u lift up the rear tire the tire starts goin on its own without pulling bac the throttle.. i loose up the chain and fixed the back tire and all.. so i think im goin to take it to a shop and all...

it sounds like you need to adjust your idle screw...just turn it a little bit, counter clock wise... that should do her

yup that would be it. but you said you loosened up the chain well tighten er' back up because that loose chain can cause serious problems. from my rookie time i had a loose chain and it loosened up a bolt that was holding in my engine and from that the chain would always fall off the sprocket then from that wrecking the chain bending the sprocket wrecking the chain adjustment screws and when everything was going great i had it runnin' at 110 percent the pinion snapped due to all of the stress it was going on from all day.
