| Pocketbike Freak | sometimes there is bits of plastic stuck insdie the tank! that will plug the gas outlet to the line..tank your tank off swish it out with gas and get the crap out of it.. hope this helps.. next time try to use deductive resoning.. hmm no gas to line.. mayby out of gas..nope mayby suction of the tank..did you see if the tank is airtight cause thats a prob too..although only at high speed usualy hmm mayby the gas is not getting into the line.. mayby the filter is plugged.. not trying to sound like as ass..but you will feel much better about yourself if you can solve the prob by thinking it through than by simple posting a question.. try unhooking the gas line at the carb or filter and get it to run..i mean flow out..air locked? |

| Administrator Friends call me God ;) | Suggestions were given in response to your question. How much more help do you need? One thing that no one mentioned is to try running the machine (not driving) with the gas cap off. If that works the fuel cap vent is plugged and you need to open it up. Push something thin through the hole to clear it up. The most probable issue is something inside the tank clogging up the nipple where the fuel line connects to. Of course if you can't figure it out take it to a reputable pocketbike dealer and have them look at it. If there are no decent dealers near you then you could try going to a small engine repair shop (lawnmower/snowblower repair). |

| Pocketbike Lord | ah , hell . i am grumpy too.wait , you just said that device.bast...!! device` is right though i am afraid to say. this forum is here to help, but you have too help yourself a little bit too. process of elimination is the best way to analyse this type of problem. start at the tank though. the molds are awful and the tanks are not cleaned and trimmed well from the factory.so start by removing the tank.then loook for loose pieces floatinng in the tank. then with it empty put the lid on and blow in the fuel outlet and see if air goes through. if yes , good put it back together and move on down the line.if not remove the cap and try again. if it is still blocked take a drill bit the same size as the outlet and run it in and out to clear the opening.then get the loose shaving out of the tank. checking it with the cap on tells you the vent is working. lets us knows hows it went please.
