Exclamation ignition woes

hi, guys;
new member
my problem is that my 47cc cag motor keeps burning up coils, never to last over a week at a time.have tried disconecting kill switch, different plugs, is this a common problem with these things, or just my bad luck? i did notice that the flywheel is not quite concentric when rotating by hand, could vibration be taking its toll? have now purchased 6 different coils for this bike from different outfits, so i dont think its a bad lot.

Never heard of that one before so I can tell you that is not a normal thing to happen.

wpg? as in canada? nope, phx. but thanks very much. did break down and order new flywheel this morn and new coil for one more try. did notice after careful look about 1" shiny area by inner lip above mags, must be flexing enough to distort feild or affect coil after a short while. anyway, i guess the last ditch effort is to just throw everythig at it and hope my wallet doesny go into shock......

also, mods to this little bike are up to now, cheapie aftermarket chamber, ufo filter w/ vstack, home ported carb w/.70 jet,port match carb to intake, glass reed,and rocket key. however,i do think 10deg may be a bit much adv,so i will have my bud work up a 6 and 8 key at his shop for kicks. also stripped all fairing and lowers to lighten bike, removed clip ons, fabbed mount for dirt bars and raised front fender for a flat tracker style of bike,looks petty cool and the higher, wider bars make it much easier to ride, im 6'2 @294lbs, so i look like a circus bear on that thing.

well. got the stuff, bike runs again, flywheel seems to have smoothed engine out considerably, but doesnt seem to turn quite as tight as before. also finally figured out what type of scooter it is after 2 years, a raptor....or at least it is identical to the pics.dont think its even 47cc though i bought it as a 49cc bike. some day will pull the jug and find out when it gets weak enough to justify the big bore kit.
