Today was an excellent day. Lots of new people came out which everyone was happy to see. The forecast was high on the rain and I might have felt 5 drops at one point.

We had a reporter and photographer from the Free Press visit us today and hopefully they will do an article on us. The reporter said he would call me and let me know when the article would be in the paper. I will make sure we have a copy for everyone to see if it gets done.

Lots of accidents early on in the day, which means a lot of competition going on. We will have further discussions this week on a few minor issues.

I agree there admin! The turn out was amazing ! And the riders did great , nice riding all ! If some of these guys would step up to a liquid they would be great contenders in that class!
Yes please do post the article ! Oh and do not forget the " equipment needed to ride " article so that everyone knows and can prepare ! Thanks for the hotdogs and drinks ............I think it saved the day !!!

ahhh crap im so sorry you guys at one point for the weater it said 90% chance of rain i am so pissed off! today would have been great for points and i would have been able to run my cag grrrr and the freakin free press came omg bigbone dude i think you should put your nurse on a one way flight to winnipeg we can schedule a return flight later on, this may take a while I cannot put a date on it. but what exactly did the reporter ask and what kind of donations were made i hope we do not have a new record.

For donations we received $35, I've got it here in an envelope.

Vern and I spoke with the reporter first, with Vern doing most of the speaking. We spoke about wanting to get kids off the street with their bikes, the fact that we have males and females and the age ranges we have. Different classes of bikes, speeds, safety issues, accidents, our basic history of racing, who we are and what we do. We gave a ton of info, probably enough to do half a page.

With all the pictures that were taken they could probably take up another half a page.

It was definately a rocking good time. I really do hope we get a favorable article in the Free Press as it could give us an awesome boost in ridership.

Seriously, every week it's getting better and better. From everything that I hear people are having more fun each time they go. I'm also hearing less complaints from people (either that or they're not telling me about them).

Next week if all works out well I should have a surprise for anyone who's interested.

i know man me and a couple buddys went out in the boat and just camped out on the island lol suprisingly only age 14 and his dad let us go on our own for the weekend we caught everything and i got a masterr angler bass
