| Pocketbike Dealer | Well no picture , but here we go ....... 1 take off the intake filter ......for some it may be black ( stock ) and some may have the cone filter ( UFO style ) if black remove the two screws on the face .....for some this may require removing the rear tire ..... for the UFO style ....using a flat head screw driver loosen the screw on the pipe strap ..... from there you must remove the velocity stack ( black plastic ) by removing two screws on both sides ....... 2 remove carb with both the bolts on each side ( inside the face of the carb ) 3 unscrew the 4 bolts holding on black intake manifold ....... 4 behind the intake manifold is the reed plate , metal reeds , and reed stopper remove this plate and unscrew the metal reeds from plate by unscrewing the reed stopper( do not strip the screw heads , need to reuse the screws ...... 5 install new reeds ......ok real easy ..... lay the plate on the table the same way as when you removed the metal ones ...... place the fiberglass reed on first ...the white one ......then the ones with the two black teeth ......thats it , do not install the black extra piece ......place on reed stopper , and screw in old screws 6 check make sure that there is no gap or any space between the reeds and reed plate this is your barrier which will help compression and suction from the carb ....... 7 from there replace back into motor the same way you removed , as well as manifold , carb , and intake filter~!

| well i can help you out for a fair bit of the process just go to this link http://www.pocketbikeforum.com/tutor...e-stallin.html when you take the carb off take the intake manifold off there will be 4 black screws then you will see the reed cage take that off and on the opposite side there will be 2 little star screws take that off then put in your new reeds after that screw it all back in place and make sure you place the reed cage in correctly by doing that pull the starter and if it bangs on the reed cage just flip it around then screw it all back in place.

| Administrator Friends call me God ;) | Article on how reeds work, and he's wrong mostly. They allow your motor to use what it has already, they don't add power. http://www.pocketbikeforum.com/artic...ping-wind.html |
