Default Very impressed

Hi everyone,

I'm moving back to Winnipeg at the end of August from Calgary, and after searching through this forum, I have to say I am impressed. I can't wait to do some racing. From the looks of things, there will be a bunch of fun to be had. It's really nice to see something cheap and organized.

So is anyone up for some winter racing on studded tires? I saw a few videos on the net, and it looks idealy suited to Winnipeg...

A little bit of history here...

In the fall of 2004 Custompocketbike saw the season dying and wondered what could be done. A few beers later saw the snow fly and a demo bike sitting around doing nothing. The next day hardened ice studs were procured and installed on the bike aptly named "ghetto bike".

It was this act which saw Custompocketbike gain notoriety in the community and produced a number of video's to promote the same of studded tires.

At the time it was a completely senseless thing to do. Now it's an industry.

Studded tires are so entertaining they should be illegal
