| Pocketbike Lord | Dudes it has come to my attention that someday some Dude May need a Spawnsor. So if you will, allow me to share mine as a guide or example that will possible help show how to format one Thank you in advance Bigbone57 #916 Name: Gary Kuhn Address: 237 W. Tulare Ave Visalia, Ca. 93277 Ph. 559-732-$$$$ Home Or 559-280-$$$$ Cell To: RivercityDude.com I am currently Pro Licensed through SCminiGP in Southern California. Our Home Track is the famed, California Speedway’s Cart Track, located in Fontana Ca. This season SCminiGp has a series total of 9 races, plus some special events planned. These events and dates can be viewed by clicking this link: http://www.scminigp.com/home/modules...showpage&pid=6. The first half of the season is past, but the best of the season remains. I have been in two (2) of the nine (9) scheduled events, and am 7th in the overall standings of a class of 15 total riders. These standings can be viewed by clicking this link and scrolling down to the 6.2 hp Seniors (Race number 916) and also in the 10 hp Seniors where there are a total of 16 riders where I am presently in the Cellar due to some issues with my bike which have been resolved: http://www.scminigp.com/home/stats/05Points.htm These events draw the best riders and their sponsors from all over the United States. Currently I have traveled over Two Thousand miles to and from these Events, and have spent close to $500.00 in expenses. These expenses include: Gas, food, lodging, and entry fees. The special event scheduled at the Nugget in Reno Nevada, will draw over 20,000 spectators, and some of the biggest Manufactures of racing products. The press release can be viewed below Double-Barrel Wild West Shootout Posted by Robert Posted 06-24-2005 Double-Barrel Wild West Shootout HSL Entertainment and Tall Boy Pro would like to announce the “Double-Barrel Wild West Shootout”, kicking off the week long event of “Hot August Nights.” The X-Kart Racing Series produced by HSL Entertainment (www.hslentertainment.com) is hosing a kick off to their come back series along side the SCminiGP (www.scminigp.com) producer Tall Boy Pro. An event designed to capture the exciting environment of Karts and Mini GP racing, where riders will spend 3 days at John Ascuaga’s Nugget hotel in Reno/Sparks Nevada during the 16 year running Hot August Nights Classic Car Show & Music Festival. The event will be held in the HUGE Nugget Hotel Parking Lot, properly designed and prepared by Knight Karting to challenge the talent and excite the public. HSL Entertainment will be working on developing televised production which will air on the America One Television Network and Fox Sports Net. This production will be focused around the exciting experience of riders, the races and the incredible week long event. They have teamed with Hot August Nights, the City of Reno/Sparks, and John Ascuaga’s Nugget Hotel to bring a whole new outlook to these two exciting sports and to assist in heavily promoted to the local public. Racers: Get a chance to meet Cedric Bianchi, Owner of BMS France who will be joining Smokin’Pocketbikes (www.smokinpocketbikes.com) as they present the Official BMS Race Team and co-support the weekend event. Also join the best racers from SCminiGP, SMRRC, OMRRA, & NWMM as they go head to head once again on the West Coast. Parents, Racers and Sponsored Riders, this race will be Televised Nation Wide. Consider the opportunity this creates for your child and the sponsors that support them. The local attraction brings in 20,000 spectators which will start they weekend off by experiencing our environment. Online Registration will once again be available and encouraged through one of our marketing partners www.speedreg.com. Classes, Pricing, and General Information are available through this partner’s site. Rooms will be available through the Hotel at a Special Discounted Rate for Racers (mention “X-Karts”) www.janugget.com. The event will start on July 29th with practice sessions and racing on 30th & 31st. The Hotel will be hosting an evening “Mixer Party” on site for all racers and one guest Friday evening. I will be attending and racing in this event if I can budget my finances to do so. I calculate it will cost approximately $350.00 for the three day event. Utilizing the discounted room at the Nugget, and my membership with SCminiGP discount to register for the race. And approximately $800.00 to attend the remainder of Home Track events and the Pocketbike Nationals in Phoenix Az. and the Stockton Invitational (not mentioned in events schedule). These two (2) events will both rival the Hot August Nights event respectively. My goal: Place in the top 5, in standings overall which would ensure me to be one of the fastest riders in the Nation with RivercityDude.com as a sponsor. So in summary, I expect to spend approximately $1,150.00 to complete the season and the special events I mentioned. If RivercityDude.com can help to sponsor any or all of this expense, I will proudly and honorably represent RivercityDude.com with a positive image and promote RivercityDude.com. This link will take you to a picture of me, promoting all the upgraded parts I purchased from RivercityDude.com [url=http://img512.imageshack.us/my.php?image=yeshefilmedme0ce.jpg][url][img=http://img512.imageshack.us |

| Administrator Friends call me God ;) | Interesting write up. However I have some issues with it as a business owner if you don't mind the critique. Firstly you are concentrating too much on events. The letter is to ask for sponsorship. However you are explaining events too much in detail. A simple link to a site for the event would be better. Yes it will make your letter shorter, and some people think that a shorter letter is not as appealing. Most business people have other things to do, or at least pretend to have other things to do so they imagine themselves as busy. Letters that are short and to the point are most effective. You also partly missed your accomplishments. What did you race before pocketbikes? How did you get involved? What other classes do you race in? You could be missing out because you are being too specific. Users need to understand that sponsorship is about business. When you talk about business you need to appear professional. This includes using a spell checker and having a professional look. This look can be in the form of a website with your own domain name and professionally printed business cards and letterhead. It can also include a legally registered business name and matching bank account. The costs for letterhead, cards, a domain, business name registration, bank account and a simple yet nice looking site are no more than a few hundred dollars. The annual cost of operating this business can be less than $100. If you need $1150 for the year then ask for $1250 to help cover costs of your business. Of course since I spoke about cards and letterhead, users should realize from the above that they should send their sponsorship request via mail and not email. Sending things through the mail shows you have actually taken some time out of your life, rather than sat at your computer at 3 in the morning in your underwear typing something out. Also remember to record your expenses and allowances as those will need to be declared on your income tax. If anyone wants assistance I would be glad to help them out. From registering a domain name or business name to designing a site or simply proofreading a letter. |

| Administrator Friends call me God ;) | If you got the cash to buy a new domain name that makes money already just let me know. You could set yourself up as the main advertiser and probably made some damn good money. The domain for sale was cannabis.com, the seller recently dropped his price to $975k US. It currently makes $10K US monthly profit. |
