Default Pocketbike racing at Western Speedway, Victoria

Looks like we may have found a way to race at the speedway in Victoria.
Local Supermoto club "practices" there every wednesday. they had a pretty cool track set up using the oval and the kart track plus some of the dirt jumps. I went and talked to them and was able to get a 10 minute ride in at the end to check out the track ( altered for non dirt riding of coarse). Wicked straight stretch down the eight mile strip, got the ti chi flyin'. We need as many people this tuesday to come down around 7pm to Western Speedway. They want to see how many riders we can get down there. We'll get only about 15 minutes to ride after their all done , but this could be our chance to start having regular races at Western. We need everyones support on this one guys. Tell everyone. Thx and God bless pocketbikes.

It's only going to be tuesday this week. It's normally every wednesday 6:00 - 8 or 9pm. if you can get off work a bit early they usually get there early also , so we may get some time in before everyone else gets there .

Default Oh yeah , and

If we have a good turn out over the next couple o few weeks, the guys running Victoria Supermoto said we would be guaranteed at least a couple hours of track time , with a big race to finish the event. It's a pretty big event they're planning. 50 cc mini-motos on a dirt track with some nice jumps. Plus they have some wicked 250 enduros doing a part street and part dirt coarse. These guys must have been doing 70 mph down the straight and then skidding sideways around a tight turn they had at the end.One dude crashed pretty good there , but no injuries. Good tire barriers. Should be a good time. Not sure what the cost will be yet, but it sounds like it'll be around $25 to ride. The earlier you get there the more time to ride. Hope to see lots of new faces.
