Bring your bikes because the weathers supposed to be nice!

The winnipeg riders will meet at Tru-Serv (1530 Gamble Pl) on Sunday Aug 6 from noon until at least 4PM.

While there is no rain predicted for Sunday, if it happens we will use monday as a rain day.

REALLY? oh no ! Where going anyways , just got off the speaker with admin , and we are THERE! we are leaving if it rains though!

Just talked to Gil, we're still on since there's no rain here. That could change however once we're out there.

It's going to be an informal day and not much equipment is going to be coming out since some people won't come due to the weather and some won't come because they're away for the long weekend. But we'll still be there!

Ha! I was all set for today. New tires mounted, bike running well, the whole bit. Once I had the car packed I thought, I'll just get the bike warmed up here at home so there'll be no probs at the track.

So I pulled on the starter, and the cord got stuck fully extended. WTF, I thought. So I unbolted the starter and as I pulled it away from the engine, the spring uncoiled with GREAT force and whipped me across the face (!).

Apparently the bolt holding everything together had worked loose and all the workings have come apart. So I have some work ahead of me putting the starter back together... with Loctite on that stinkin bolt

Which brings me to my question - does anyone have an exploded diagram of then starter, or a tutorial on reassembly?

oh ouch, hope you're ok.

I haven't gotten the tutorial on rewinding a pull start done. Although there may be a description of the process somewhere on the forum.
