Default 2006 Rivercity Season Review

Well had a great start with a big help from gil and selling bikes out at growshow which had fell through not too far into the season, i remember i was there one saturday with guys coming in and out constantly! i loved it! then started out biggest cag turnout ever! 12 caggers OMG! can you say fun! then the leauge saw the very first euro in person. Verns Blata WRS nice ride, and a big fall Vern was out for some time but that didnt stop him from showing up! no sir' he came out everyweekend and helped out guys with their bikes. He came out to Calgary with us and ran about 5 laps. Speaking of Calgary we finnally met Gary (a.k.a Bigbone) Face to Face for the first time what a hoot! After a crap shoot at Calgary accept for out man Gil! who finished 4th overall but it was still fun as hell racing was not the priority after the Track closed the priority was to PARTY. Well not tooo long after that Shaw Cable came and did a 5 minute bit on us which was GREAT! Then who could forget the big transition of Rivercity Pocketbikes Switching hands with Gil as the New Owner. not tooo much happened after that then Saskatoon came running along WHICH WAS AWESOME! Gil Qualified 4th and finished 3rd in both heat races he finished with an overall 3rd on the podium in the pocketbike open class. and i qualified 4th and finished 4th and 2nd in the heat races to get my 3rd place podium finish in pocketbikes 40cc and under. We taught then Calgary Folk a thing or two and ofcourse we picked up some moves ofcourse but we showed everyone there that TRC CAN BRING IT! and that is pretty much all that has happened this season.
