do not jip money out from a helmet be prepared to spend 80-100 on one trust me its worth it. Also get atleast a DOT rated helmet Snell is good too. As far as knee pads go i got my first pair from toys R us 3 years ago and i still have them for lending. And im sure you can find some gloves there too

Talking

Snell is good to .......... Hey inthelead83 , i recommend getting a snell before a dot .
snell has been certified , dot , has just been tested or is under testing .

As for the rest of the pads , zellers , kmart ( lol ) or canadain tire have elbow and knee pads for a cheap price .........
otherwise , you wana good deal on some gear , talk to huck , he has some jackets , 2 piece suits and 1 piece suits for sale and for a good price !
Very very affordable , as well he has gloves !
As for helmets again , i recommend Capitol motorsports . These guys really know how to help a fellow rider out and support our cause as we do theres !

SO........ NOW .... No excuses !
As for what BB had to say ( Big Bone ) , he hit it right on the money .
If you where looking for a hobbie that will stop you from killing your wife or girlfriend , a hobbie that you will want to spend every dollar you make on , A hobbie that brings us all together every week religiously , OR A hobbie to travel and meet new friends that will help you with anything , Well your sitting on a gold mine . Besides , I took up my hobbie for my first option !LMAO
The best , and you have stumbled onto some of the fastest ............Bigbone57( Cali ) , huckster , Inthelead83, Fatguycanwin, Sleeves, Brendan ( Grinn + Barrett Alberta ) , Androu ( Ontario ) , Device ( B.C ) , Sleeves ( ME ) LOL .
Hey by all means , there are alot of good riders out there . ALOT . This is Trc, baby ! Having fun everywhere we go , the more the merrier !

So come on out , learn , and get good ! Then come and join the team, travel and represent ! LMAO
God i love this port , it so insaine , it keeps me saine!

I've been wearing a pair of leather gardening gloves for a couple of years now. They are tough as hell, though there isn't much padding. Works great for less than $10 a pair. Really, you just need something to cover your skin, it doesn't need to be fancy.

helmet
gloves
knee pads and elbow pads

I'm still new at this and I know you're all experience, might as well get the right things the first time.
CrazymonkeyDude ....pencil in Sask.
I'll bring an extra helmet and gloves.
Loan them to you, and I believe
there is an extra leather jacket in the
TRC Trailer you can borrow. Pic up some knee protectors,
and your good to go....
There (Sask) you will learn the answers to this question, I promise.
Bring the wife and kids too.
They will have a great time. I promise......
Your son or daughter will probably ask why
you do it. Because your gunna be/get lapped, by Me.
But he or she will respect you for being on the Track.
I promise.
