Default Updated Rules & Safety Requirements

This is not a discussion, but comments are always welcome.

After the organizers spoke over the last two weeks the following items have been brought up and agreed upon as new rules and requirements. We need more organization so we can help you have a better time, we're working on it as best we can.

Donations
A donation is not mandatory but will be asked for from each and every participant. We ask for $5. If you cannot afford the donation we understand, but please do the best you can. Realize that if/when we get a track the cost will not be optional and will be more. Right now we have a very very low cost form of entertainment.

Yes, even some of the non riding volunteers are donating. They give their time to let you ride and they're proving funds to help us out. Please do your part and offer whatever you can.

Waivers
A table will be provided where riders can sign the waiver and hand in their donation after the riders meeting. People should not need to chase riders down to obtain donations and ask you to sign the waiver.

Minimum safety requirements
helmet
elbow pads
knee pads
shoes & socks
pants (preferably jeans)
long sleeve shirt
gloves

Race starts
Only one push is allowed. Riders making more than one push will receive a one lap penalty. If you know you are slow at starts then please start at the back. By pushing more than once you take up room that other riders need to get past you and it creates a hazard.

Volunteers
Many people volunteer their time and efforts to make these races/rides happen each week. Please understand that these people spend their time and money to make things happen. I don't think we need more people to volunteer their time, but I think some of them may need more acknowledgement.

Vern provides some equipment for riders that do not have. More donations means that extra equipment can be provided for those that do not have equipment or have forgotten some at home.
