| Pocketbike Beginner | Do any pitbikes, set up in motard trim show up to ride with you guys? A few of us have Pitster Pro's and have street tires. I don't know if I'll be ready on Sunday, but I'll try. But if it's all pocket bikes, then I guess we need to make sure there is a couple pit bikes there. It's a 125cc 4 stroke. Any bigger pocket bikes in the group? Would it be fair to race this bike against the 49cc pocket bikes? Just curious... If not this weekend, next time about 3 or 4 of us should be out. |

| Pocketbike Beginner | Ya, 4 speed, HD clutch, just gear down before the corner if needed, depending how tight the corner is. Our dirt track is about the same size as a go cart track. All 2nd & 3rd gear stuff. The more corners the better, some jumps are nice to! To mix it up you can make wooden jumps on the straight to slow down the pitbikes. I've seen pitbikes and pocketbikes race together on an indoor go cart track. Neat! Shame the local place in Winnipeg can't make it happen in the winter. Something about insurance issues. But if we signed a waiver I don't see the big deal? Last edited by A-J : 07-15-2006 at 02:23 AM. |
